Monica Tyran received a Creative Work Grant from Ana & Adeline Foundation to pursue creative exploration in letterpress and bookbinding intensives at the San Francisco Center for the Book, and studio access at the New Orleans-based Southern Letterpress. This is her third award from the foundation. In 2013 she was awarded a grant to participate in an internship with the International Studio and Curatorial Program in Brooklyn, NY. Monica also received a grant in 2011 to support her residency at the New Orleans Glassworks & Printmaking Studio.

Monica rose from a YAYA Artist to become the Program Manager Administrative Assistant from 2008-2010, Programs Coordinator 2010-2011, and Studio Coordinator during 2011-2014.
