In 2018, YAYA discovered in its storage boxes and boxes containing thousands of slides, photographs, sketches, and print media collected since YAYA’s founding in 1988. YAYA donated the imagery to the Ana & Adeline Foundation, which then set about preserving and organizing the imagery as a digital archive. This archive is accessible to the public through FLICKR and is a living repository that will continue to be updated with the work of YAYA artists and alumni. In addition to this digital archive, The Historic New Orleans Collection also retains a YAYA collection.
These images are to be used solely for scholarly research and interpretation and to support the mission of YAYA and the Ana & Adeline Foundation. All artworks are the copyright or the artist. Photographs are the copyright of the photographer.
